Il progetto proposto da Angelica Stimpfl, Claudia Polizzi e Luca Marignoni, con la collaborazione di Stefano Riba, declina in campo artistico l’esempio di stile di vita pratico e autarchico comune tra i popoli montanari che da il titolo al progetto. Il primo capitolo di Broilo ha visto infatti Ruggge (Ruggero Asnago), artista poliedrico e orientato agli aspetti relazionali delle pratiche artistiche, confrontarsi con una residenza nella casa-laboratorio-luogo di scambio di Angelica a Vervò. Ruggge, accompagnato da Angelica (curatrice della residenza e stampatrice) ha esplorato il territorio della Val di Non, senza una direzione prestabilita, lasciandosi guidare in una piacevole deriva costellata da incontri fortuiti e sentieri poco battuti che rivelano verdi panorami ricchi di storie ancora da scoprire. Particolare attenzione è stata dedicata alla ricerca di personaggi e leggende legati al folklore locale, alle storie della tradizione orale o aneddotica, all’esplorazione dei dintorni con particolare attenzione ai toponimi che più raccontano il territorio, agli oggetti e alle tecniche della vita rurale nonesa. Lo scopo è trovare, catalogare e collezionare elementi che andranno a comporre una sorta di cartografia visiva di Vervò e dintorni. Raccogliere elementi, per poi "raccontarli" durante i workshop, liberi e gratuiti, che per una settimana hanno dato la possibilità ai partecipanti di ascoltare queste storie, narrate dalla voce di Angelica, e alla quale è stato chiesto di esprimersi e dare il loro contributo visivo, mediante la tecnica della serigrafia, "fissando" queste storie su dei grandi drappi che simboleggiano un racconto collettivo a più voci, dei miti e leggende della Val di Non. L’idea è guidare i/le partecipanti in questo laboratorio diffuso (sia dal punto di vista spaziale che cronologico) a riflettere sul territorio. Lo scopo è fornire un racconto collettivo inedito del paese e dei suoi dintorni che possa attivare la partecipazione della cittadinanza durante la fase di ricerca in situ (la raccolta di aneddoti, leggende, materiali), durante le attività laboratoriali e concludersi con una mostra all’interno del fienile della famiglia Stimpfl, proprio in cima a Vervò. Sono stati inoltre realizzati 8 poster interamente disegnati da Ruggge e stampati in serigrafia da Angelica in tiratura limitata di 10 copie, che illustrano le 8 storie che più hanno colpito l'attenzione dell'artista durante questa residenza.
